Cullman, Alabama’s workforce is known for its strong work ethic and dedication. Absenteeism is extremely low, as well as turnover. In 1983, Wal-Mart founder, Sam Walton, decided to locate his distribution center in Cullman because of our agriculture heritage. He flew over Cullman County, noticing the poultry houses and family farms. Mr. Walton knew that the citizens of Cullman are dedicated, hard-working people.
